Innovare was engaged in 2019-20 in a project to develop a strategic roadmap for Airport Operations towards the future SESAR Concepts, namely an Airport Operating Plan (AOP) and future state AirPort Operations Centre (APOC). Our extensive, proven knowledge within this specialist domain, enabled Innovare to carry out a unique-angle study aimed at providing objective insights to the Airport Operator of a major European Hub airport and other key stakeholders regarding their recent implementation of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM).
As with many airports, our client rightly follows the legislative path laid down to deploy A-CDM however, unfortunately not all ever realise the true benefits on offer following connection to full Network mode. By using our definitive blend of stakeholder engagement, procedural and process expertise together with the integration of our in-house pioneered big data techniques, we develop a new insight lens on the overall operational efficiency of the air traffic management and airport system and flows. This lens allows the airport / ANSP to establish the true baseline position for A-CDM Ops following which, as with this project, we then successfully provide a future performance improvement roadmap often citing many quick wins for immediate deployment and benefits realisation.
